Privacy Policy
1. What the App collects
Nothing leaves your device. The App stores what it needs to run a game — the name you put on your card, the card look and theme you pick, and the game's transaction ledger — on the device the game is played on. There are no accounts and no sign-in. We do not collect advertising identifiers, run third-party analytics, or show ads, and none of your game data is sent to us. If that ever changes, this policy will be updated before it does.
2. Who can see your game
A game is played on one device passed around the table, so whoever is holding it can see the game on it — that is the point of a shared table, not a transfer of your data to anyone else. The App can hide other players' balances if your table prefers it; the shared pot is always visible, and final standings always are.
3. This website
This site runs no analytics, no advertising and no tracking cookies. It is hosted on Vercel, which keeps standard server logs (these can include your IP address) to serve the site and keep it secure. We do not use those logs to build a profile of you.
4. What we never do
We do not sell personal information. We do not share it with third parties except services strictly needed to operate the App and this site (such as hosting), and we do not use it for advertising.
5. Children
Bank of Play is a family game tool. The App does not knowingly collect personal information from children beyond the player name typed on a card, which can be any name at all — it never needs to be a real one, and it never leaves the device.
6. Storage and security
Your game data is stored on your own device by the App, and is not uploaded to us or to anyone else. Deleting the App deletes it. Because we do not hold it, we cannot retrieve a game you have deleted.
7. Your rights
Under the Australian Privacy Act 1988 (and equivalent laws where you live), you may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal information. In practice we hold almost nothing about you — but if you believe we do, ask and we will action it.
