1. Who we are
Bank of Play (the "App") is operated by Max's Enterprises Pty Ltd (ABN 82 002 434 577) ("we", "us"), a company registered in Australia. By downloading or using the App, you agree to these terms.
2. What the App is
Bank of Play is a digital banking companion for tabletop board games. It tracks in-game balances and transactions between players at your table. All money in the App is fictional game currency; the App does not hold, transfer or process real money, and nothing in it constitutes a financial product or service.
3. Your use of the App
You may use the App for personal, non-commercial play. You agree not to misuse the App, attempt to gain unauthorised access to other players' games, reverse-engineer it, or use it in a way that breaks the law. Players are responsible for their own house rules and for how a game's outcome is decided — the App keeps the books; it does not referee.
4. Game data
Game data (bank names, player names, balances, transaction history) exists to run your game and is stored on the device you play it on, not by us. The ledger is visible to the players sharing that device by design — that is the point of the App. Deleting the App deletes the data with it, and we cannot restore it.
5. Intellectual property
The App, its design, name and icon are our property. Bank of Play is an independent product: it is not affiliated with, endorsed by or connected to the publisher of any board game, and any board game names remain the property of their respective owners.
6. App stores
If you download the App from the Apple App Store or Google Play, the store's own terms also apply, including Apple's standard Licensed Application End User License Agreement where relevant. The stores are not responsible for the App or these terms.
7. No warranties; liability
The App is provided "as is". To the extent permitted by law — including the Australian Consumer Law, whose guarantees are not excluded — we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss arising from your use of the App, including any dispute over a game's outcome.
8. Changes
We may update the App and these terms. Material changes will be posted on this page with a new effective date; continued use after a change means you accept it.
